For adults diagnosed later in life
The diagnosis made sense of a lot.
Now you have to live with what it explained.
Neurodivergent-affirming hypnotherapy and coaching for autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults who found out in their thirties, forties or beyond. Support for the life around the diagnosis — not an attempt to change how your brain works.

Is this you?
A name for it doesn’t switch off the hard parts.
Late identification often lands as relief and grief in the same breath. Here’s what tends to be running underneath.
Rewriting your whole story
You keep re-reading the past through a new lens — relief, anger, grief and “what if I’d known”, all at once.
Worn out from performing
Decades of holding it together in public left you unsure where the mask ends and you begin.
Running on empty
Not ordinary tiredness — the kind where basic tasks stop working and there’s nothing left to push with.
One foot on each pedal
Part of you wants routine and calm; part of you is bored stiff and chasing the next thing.
A small sting lands like a wound
A short reply or a bit of feedback can flatten you for hours. You brace, over-prepare, or avoid to stay safe.
Can’t switch off when you want to
The night is the only time that’s yours, so you guard it — then pay for it the next day.
The approach
What this is — and what it isn’t.
Being neurodivergent isn’t a problem to be cured. The work lowers the cost of living in a world that wasn’t built for you.
What the work is for
- Settling the nervous system so overwhelm and shutdowns come less often and pass faster.
- Working with the old stories — “lazy”, “too much”, “not enough” — laid down before anyone knew why you struggled.
- Rebuilding self-trust and a steadier sense of who you are after the diagnosis.
- Practical, body-based help with sleep, anxiety and recovery from burnout.
- Finding where it’s safe to drop the mask — and learning to tell when it isn’t.
What it isn’t
- A treatment or cure for autism or ADHD. Your wiring isn’t the thing being changed.
- Training to mask better or pass as neurotypical.
- A replacement for medical, psychiatric or diagnostic care.
- A promise of a fixed result. Hypnosis suits some people and some goals, not everyone.
- Pushing you to “build resilience” by tolerating more than your system can handle.
Why this work exists
Late diagnosis often arrives with relief and grief in the same breath.
Many people finally get answers in their 30s, 40s or later — only to discover there’s very little support for what comes next. The nmasking, the burnout, the rewriting of your own story, adressing a nervous system that’s been running on high alert for decades.
I created Spectrum Hypnosis because that gap is real. This isn’t about “fixing” how your brain works. It’s about lowering the cost of living in a world that wasn’t designed for it — with care, clarity, and practical support.

Sessions & programmes
Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
Single sessions are good entry points. The programme is for deeper, slower change.
Settling In
A paced multi-session programme for the first few years after a late diagnosis — integrating what you’ve learned and steadying the ground under you.
Four focused 70-minute sessions across identity, nervous-system regulation and old self-talk. Built for autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults.
Focused single session
A focused 75-minute one-off aimed at one pressure point you want to shift — or a way to try the work before committing to more.
Choose your focus: Wind-Down (sleep), Coming Down (after overload), When Rejection Floods, or Before the Thing (anticipatory anxiety).
Free fit call
A short, no-pressure call to see whether this is right for you. Camera optional. No obligation.
What to expect
No surprises. You’ll know what’s coming.
A free 20-minute call. You talk, I listen, we work out if and how I can help. No pressure.
Before any session you get a clear outline of what we’ll do and what hypnosis actually feels like.
You stay in control the whole time. Keep your eyes open, pause, ask questions, or stop.
Simple, low-demand things to carry on with — never homework that becomes one more thing to mask through.
Get in touch
Send a message, at your own pace.
No pressure, and no script to get right. Tell me as much or as little as you like. I reply to everything myself, usually within two working days.
- Only your name, email and a short message are needed — everything else is optional.
- Your details are only ever used to reply to you.
You don’t need it all worked out to start.
A first conversation is free, and you decide nothing on the call. Bring the questions, the doubts, all of it.
